How it all began
Nelson Family Meats is a second generation family-run butchery based in the small rural town of Jandowae (Qld).
Nelson Family Meats began in 1997 when Graham and Gloria Nelson purchased the business moving from Far North Queensland to Jandowae securing a butcher shop with its own processing plant - offering a true paddock to plate product for customers.
It wasn't long before their customer base started growing with shoppers travelling from across the Western Downs to visit their favourite country butcher shop.
Today, the company is run by Graham and Gloria's son Clint who like his father is commited to bringing his community premium quality meat.
Sourcing meat from local farmers, Clint and team of passionate and skilled butchers care about their product as well as the earth it is raised on.
As well as making sure you get the best meat every time, you'll also get the best service. The old school service is something that sets Nelson Family Meats apart, they enjoy their craft and are happy to answer questions and provide advice.
